Image Cropper & Aspect Ratio Tool
Crop to any aspect ratio with a draggable crop box.
A crop box you actually control
After you upload a photo, it's drawn to a canvas at a display size that fits your screen, with a draggable, resizable crop box on top. Drag inside the box to move it, or drag a corner handle to resize — pick an aspect ratio preset first if you want the box locked to a ratio.
Full-resolution export
When you click “Export crop,” the tool scales your on-screen selection back up to the original image's full pixel dimensions and draws just that region onto a new canvas, so you get a properly sharp result rather than a scaled-down preview.
Frequently asked questions
How precise is the exported crop?
The crop box you drag on screen is mapped back to full source-image pixel coordinates before exporting, so the exported file uses your original photo's full resolution within the cropped region — not a low-resolution screenshot of the preview.
What do the aspect ratio presets do?
Clicking a preset like 1:1 or 16:9 locks the crop box to that ratio while you drag its corners, so you can resize without worrying about the proportions drifting. “Free-form” removes the lock so you can drag to any rectangle you like.
Can I reposition the crop box after resizing it?
Yes — click and drag anywhere inside the box to move it around the image, or drag any of the four corner handles to resize it. The box always stays within the image bounds.
What image format is the cropped result?
The export keeps your original file's format (JPEG, PNG or WebP) where supported, falling back to PNG for other formats, so transparency and quality characteristics carry over into the cropped file.
